COURSE DESCRIPTION/OBJECTIVE:
Microneedling is one of the fastest growing and most popular treatments of today for aging and acne skin. The procedure involves repeatedly puncturing the skin. The course will include theory, live demo, and hands on practice. To get your certification, students are required to effectively treat 4 patients under the supervision of a licensed/certified esthetician at the Med Spa affiliated with AAE. Class is limited to 8 students maximum.

Product usage protocols
Treatment guidelines
Indications and contraindications
Pre and post care instruction
Comparative and corresponding skin therapies
Treatment and technical demonstration
Epidermal density and strength
Demo – Students observe a technician performing treatments from start to finish.
Practice – Students must acquire 4 patients of different Fitzpatrick and conditions. Students will practice live in a supervised affiliated Med Spa.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Please plan on arriving 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. Registration requires full payment upon registration. Late arrivals will not be permitted to participate. Any changes or cancellations require a 7-day notice in writing to receive full refund. Any changes done less than 7 days prior are subject to a 50% change/cancellation fee. Anyone no-showing to class will not be eligible for any refund. Exceptions are at the sole discretion of management.
