Airbrush Spray Tanning Class

PREREQUISITES:

Licensed Esthetician or Licensed Cosmetologist or Nurse or Current/past students of American Academy of Esthetics.

$299 Non-AAE Students/$169 AAE Students (3 CEU)

COURSE DESCRIPTION/OBJECTIVES:

Students will learn the fundamentals of airbrush tanning through focused theory and hands-on training, including skin prep, product application, client safety, and aftercare. This one-day course blends focused theory with live, hands-on training under the direct supervision of a licensed esthetics instructor.

THEORY

  • Learn the basics of airbrush tanning

  • Understand proper technique, skin prep, and product application

  • Practice airbrush tanning treatments on one (1) live model or peer

  • Receive a Certificate of Completion for 3 CEUs (valid for IDFPR renewal).

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Identify the purpose and benefits of airbrush tanning

  2. Apply safe and effective airbrush tanning techniques for different skin types

  3. Recognize indications, contraindications, and proper sanitation practices

  4. Demonstrate knowledge of client pre-care and post-care instructions

  5. Confidently perform airbrush tanning services under instructor supervision

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Each class is limited to 5 students. Please arrive 15 minutes early; late arrivals cannot participate. Full payment is due at registration. Cancellations made seven days in advance receive a full refund, while those made later are subject to a 50% fee. No refunds are given for no-shows. CEU certificates are issued only after the class and all client/model requirements are completed and can be picked up at the end of the training day. Attendance for the full day is required. Exceptions are at the discretion of management.
