COURSE DESCRIPTION/OBJECTIVES: 

Female Brazilian Waxing is one of the most requested hair removal services in the beauty industry. This course provides a balance of theory, live demonstration, and hands-on practice under direct instructor supervision.

THEORY

Students will:

  • Understand the fundamentals, purpose, and professional standards of female Brazilian waxing.

  • Demonstrate competency in consultation, draping, safety, sanitation, and waxing techniques.

  • Perform supervised female Brazilian waxing services on live models or peers.

  • Receive a certificate of completion for 6 CEUs, valid for IDFPR renewal.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Identify the purpose, benefits, and professional applications of female Brazilian waxing.

  2. Apply proper sanitation, infection control, setup, and client protection procedures.

  3. Recognize indications, contraindications, and precautions for female Brazilian waxing services.

  4. Demonstrate knowledge of client consultation, preparation, positioning, draping, and aftercare instructions for clients.

  5. Select appropriate wax types, supplies, and product protocols based on skin sensitivity and hair growth patterns.

  6. Observe and analyze a complete female Brazilian waxing service performed by an instructor.

  7. Safely and effectively perform female Brazilian waxing services under instructor supervision on at least 2 live models or with peers using proper technique, timing, and client communication.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Space is limited to 3 students per class. Please plan on arriving 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. Registration requires full payment upon registration. Late arrivals will not be permitted to participate. Any changes or cancellations require a 7-day notice in writing to receive a full refund. Any changes made in less than 7 days prior is subject to a 50% change/cancellation fee. Students who no-show to class will not be eligible for any refund. Exceptions are at the sole discretion of management.
